wyndham orlando resort?

we are planning to go to orlando in october 2008 to get married.
we are thinking of staying at the wyndham on i-drive and also having our wedding there.
just wanted to hear from anyone who has stayed here and/or got married here?
what did you think of the resort?
anything you know about it would be appreciated.

We stayed there in 2004, it was a nice resort , very pretty you would never believe you are in the middle of i-drive, the location is fantastic, loads of resaurants in walking distance but there are definatley two grades of rooms one is motel style, with walkways on the exterior, and the much nicer resort style rooms towards the back of the hotel with nice balconys and outside seating!
It is very much a conference hotel with the pools empty during the day and filling up quickly in the late pm.
I would advise looking at the reviews on trip advisor, they were not very good at the time of our visit ( we hadn't looked before we booked!!) so we emailed our concerns to the hotel manager and joined the hotels membership club. He was quick to calm our fears and we were given the resort style rooms with a great view of one of the lakes, also several fruit and drinks baskets throughout our stay.
