Wyndham in DD 3 day sale for $50/night What is this hotel like?

The three day sale ends Nov. 1st. The rate is $50/night plus tax plus $8 resort fee. Your credit card is charged immediately and ressies cannot be changed or cancelled.

I was thinking about booking on Priceline, could someone rank the resorts offered by Priceline (excluding Swan and Dolphin because they haven't come up for ever). How does Wyndham compare? Should I take this deal or take my chances on Priceline for $60/night?

Hilton, Wyndham, Marriott, etc.???

Just stayed there- got it thru priceline at $62/night- so your deal is better. It's a good deal for the price- rooms are much bigger than AS and the moderates. It was okay- but lacks the magic of staying on-property. Lots of reviews on the Orlando Hotels board.... Also, if you want to try priceline, check out www.biddingfortravel.com they have a list of hotels that come up on priceline (but you would prob. get the wyndham!!)Jill

I stayed there for 4 days. It is a perfectly nice hotel, but no magic at all. You could be anywhere. But the proximity to DD is great. You can walk over to eat, take a stroll, shop when noone else is there. I missed that when I stayed at WL.

Is the Wyndham better than Hilton? I haven't read very good things about it, but the price can't be beat.
