I have a reservation for Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek, and did not know there was another Wyndham Bonnet Creek.:upsidedow I am interested in looking into the other but I don't know how. It seems the other gets great reviews and a lot of discussion. Does anyone know the difference? Preference? How can I find out about the other? Thanks.:goodvibes

From what I've read on the Disboards the Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek is the hotel that just opened this past fall. The WBC is the timeshare resort - you can rent from owners at a much cheaper rate. I presume much of the hotel are just single rooms unless you book a suite. We are getting a 2 BR presidential condo from Ken Price at Vacation Upgrades for about $750 for 5 nights end of May. Go to the "The we loooooooove Bonnet Creek" thread. There are now 2 parts...

Yes the Grand is their hotel, there is a $16 per night resort fee and a $13 day self parking fee on top of the rate plus our taxes. I also went with Ken at vacation upgrades and got a 2BR for our first stay in that area and a 3BR for the 2nd stay over there , going to universal onside for a couple night and have more ppl coming on 2nd half.

I got the room for a fraction of what I was going to pay at hotels plus there are no other fees which is nice. So if they say it is $110 a night then that is it. No parking, resort or additional taxes charged.

I am really looking forward to trying this place this trip. There is just so much to do for kids and since our first stay is a non park stay because I am at a convention. The will lots to do with grandma during the day.

The Grand is a deluxe hotel, while the other is a time-share resort with large condo-sized villas.

For example, there is daily housekeeping at the Grand, but not at the timeshare place.

At the Grand, the rooms are hotel size. At the time-share resort, they have multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. They go up to 4-bedroom 2,400 square feet!

You book the Grand like a regular hotel, while the timeshare property is best booked by renting reservations from its owners.
