Wyndham Free Shuttle Service - how does it work?

Hi,

Have some friends who are going to be staying at Wyndham week before Easter. They mentioned that a free shuttle to Disney is included. So, we're just interested in where does this shuttle leave you when you get to the parks? Is there a separate shuttle for each park? How often to the shuttles run also in relation to park opening and closings?

They are driving down and got a free parking pass from AA when they bought their park tickets so are wondering what is better to do - drive or take shuttle to parks...

Thanks

Which Wyndham? Most off site shuttles will have a few buses. One drops off at the ticket center for Epcot and Magic Kingdom.

Unless I'm confusing it with another Bonnet Creek thing, I thought their shuttle was a pay service now.

Wyndham Bonnet Creek (time share) is now a pay shuttle -- it used to be free. However, the hotel -- Wyndham Grand that is in the same complex has a free shuttle (I think). So, I think if you are staying at the hotel side it's free but on the time share side I think it's $6. Both have buses. I just returned on Friday and saw buses picking up at the hotel as well as the time share side.

If someone knows better on the hotel side they can correct me but that's my understanding.

Honestly.I don't know and I don't think my SIL knows either and they're the ones going! A couple of weeks ago we were told by my SIL's in laws (they're going with them) there's a $5 per person fee for shuttle. Then we saw my SIL yesterday and she aid they were using times share at Wyndham...and they just got they're park tickets from AAA and that they also got free parking passes from AAA for Disney, but that didn't matter a the hotel offers free shuttle service to parks and I mentioned that I thought they charged a fee and she said "no it's free" - so who knows???

But I don't think they know anything about FP+ or Magic Bands or any of the other changes...they're going Easter vacation week and my nieces really want to meet Frozen characters and I know it's tough to see them and FP+ helps, but I don't think they know..not sure..MY SIL is the type you don't say anything to as she knows it all and she is supposedly a "licensed" Disney travel agent (her friend is and I think she just took a course to try and make some commission planning trips). But so far I don't think her friend or she knows that much as I always know more and I see lots of holes in their plans, but can't say much. I hope they have a great time....it's their first time driving down and staying off site and I don't even think they have downloaded the MDE app or are fully aware of he changes...

So I guess they'll find out about the shuttle when they get there. If they have to pay they always have their car and free AAA parking passes....

Thanks

The AAA passes give you parking closer to the gate. The pass doesn't give you free parking

Well, I guess they'll figure it out when they get there....I try to help, but they "know it all" and it's better I just keep my mouth shut. I'm sure they'll figure out how to get to the parks and where to go and what it does or doesn't cost....it's just that I'm assuming it will be a very busy week as it's a holiday week and many schools are off that week and I prefer to know as many logistics as I can before I get there so I know what I need to do and not waste time.

Oh well...thanks for the input.
