Wyndham Bonnet Creek security deposit?

Does Wyndham Bonnet Creek require a credit card or cash security deposit at check-in?

We stayed in 2009 and when I called to make a room request I asked about deposits. They told me that they put $100 or $150 on a credit card (hold)as deposit.

When we checked in I was prepared to give them my credit card and when I handed it to them they said they did not need it.

I wondered if it was because we rented through Ken Price who (obviously) has a lot of points (I don't know what his status would be called?). I didn't question it though.

I would be very concerned as an owner renting out my points that they don't take a CC for security. If there is damage to the unit or items missing at checkout, would they come after me as the owner?

BTW, I am not an owner at BC, but do own other Orlando timeshares.

Both times we stayed there (March 2011 and July 2011) they required a credit card security deposit. I'm thinking it was $200 or $300 but I know they released it right after we checked out. I'm looking for my notes to see the correct amount. We booked through Ken and Denise Price both times.

We were just there and it was $100 hold on our credit card, released 2 days after checking out.
