Morning!
I have noticed a few comments on Bonnet Creek recently, and was thinking about booking it for our last few days.
I'm a bit confused though (doesn't take alot!:)). There seems to be the WyndhamVR Bonnet Creek which is quoting me £220 a night() or the Bonnet Creek Villa's which are £97 a night:confused3 I don't know what the difference is except the price! Both are 3 bed villas on ebookers.
Any advise would be very welcome!

Not sure.
I suspect the higher price is the same resort (VR meaning Vacation resort) but booking direct with Wyndham at full price, the lower price going thru another agent.
When I booked my confirmation came from a completely different company to the one I used.

Your dates are showing £109/nt for me, (less 12% Quidco)

I used Booking.com who are showing at £100/nt (less 3% Quidco)

Our weekend was fantastic, just very tiring.
Charlie & the Choc Factory was worth seeing but didn't come out thinking Wow, great set, costumes and actors but not strong enough songs for a musical, not worth the £70/ /ticket in my opinion.
On the other had Jersey Boys was brilliant, well worth seeing.
Can't believe the cost of things in London, up here we pay £2.50-£3 for a pint of beer, London almost £5, we had a coffee and cake one lunch cost £28 for 3 of us, mad. With trains & tube, hotel, tickets, food & drink the weekend cost £800-900 :scared1:

I have stayed 5 times at Bonnet Creek in a 2 bedroom which are fantastic. I absolutely love BC and wont stay anywhere else now. Feel free to ask as many questions as you like. Cant really help with booking.com etc as I always book with www.vacationupgrades.com who are always outstanding. We are back in August, cant wait.

Ah! Was wondering what VR could stand for!
I can't find it for £109 though. Which company is it through?
Glad you enjoyed your weekend, if a tad expensive! I have heard great reviews of Jersey Boys!

Hi, thanks for your reply:)
Do you think a 2 bed would be ok for 5 adults? Are they comparable to OKW?We have a 2 bed at OKW but they are a lovely size! Our kids are 20,20 and 22 now so take up more space!

£109 was price showing on ebookers. I could not see £97 you quoted.

The singing in JB's was amazing.

I'm pretty sure a 2 bed at Bonnet Creek will be a lot bigger than OKW. Rooms are huge. Big balcony as well. For 3 nights last year my brothers family stayed in our room ( wanted to try and save them some money) before moving into their own 2 bedroom and it was fine. Infact I think they would have liked to have stayed with us the whole time. There also 3 and 4 bedroom places at Bonnet Creek.

This link gives floorplan and size, http://www.extraholidays.com/orlando-florida/wyndham-bonnet-creek-resort.aspx
It says a 2 bed = 1,257sq`

A 2 bed at OKW = 1,395sq` http://**************.net/2013/05/06/review-disneys-old-key-west-page-3/

OKW just slightly bigger but doubt anyone would notice on that size property. If it was a concern then the 3 bed at WBC is 1,503sq`

Thanks Wayne, but I'm not very good at imagining sizes! I have a problem judging a metre so lets just say big!!!:thumbsup2

OKW must be pretty big then. I have stayed at SSR and that felt a lot smaller. Never got o stay at OKW but our friends sty every year and love it.

They are, I visited one a couple of years ago when friends stayed in one.
SSR 2 bed are a lot smaller at 1070sq` http://www.dvcrequest.com/saratoga_springs.asp
OKW have the largest rooms on property as it was the first DVC complex to be built.

the OKW 2 BR is ENORMOUS!!!
that's always what we stayed in at OKW (probably about 5 or 6 times, 3 weeks each time - the rates were a LOT better then)..

OKW was the original DVC and they built it much bigger than anything that followed...

Morning!:goodvibes
So on this grotty rainy day, I have booked 5 nights at Bonnet Creek after we leave OKW in a 3 bed deluxe! Tried to get a Presidential room but there weren't any available; so my first question is does anyone know what the difference is between a deluxe and a standard?
(thanks to Portugal1000 for info)
Second question is:-
the last time we stayed at OKW the dining plan and park tickets were on our room key. We decided this year to have a few days off site as we want to try some different restaurants, but we will still want to use our park tickets. I'm assuming we will still be able to after we leave OKW as we have 14 day ultimates; so I would expect the room access and dining plan to just expire and we just use them for access to the parks, but am I right?
thanks in advance,
Jules x
