I think this one is about a 10 minute walk to the park, anyone stay there? Wondering how it is. Plan to go for 3 days and make the 3.5 hour drive down on a Sunday and hit the parks Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday in Oct. We went stayed at the Grand Floridian last year for a week at WDW so I'm not expecting GF accommodations but decent.

Long time lurker but signed up so I can reply to your post. :)My family and I stayed in January this year. We loved it! Their front desk staff and Starbucks staff are amazing. This was reinforced today when I called to confirm my reservation can have an additional guest (last minute change). I spoke to Ozzy, who made a great impression on us when we went and it makes me want to not hold out for CCI anymore. My dad said he was surprised that he felt more welcomed there than at the parks.

The hotel is clean and smells nice (citrusy essential oils). We had connecting 2 queen rooms that were along side the road, but noise was very minimal.

The walk is so doable. My stepmom who isn’t active was able to do it without issue. We didn’t notice the distance at all. Super convenient with a Walgreens and CVS across the street, which we made stops at every night after the parks. Also, utilized the Hyatt House Starbucks one morning before going to the parks.

The only problem we had was the sink water initially smells like sulfur every time you turned in the faucet. But the smell eventually went away.

I stayed here last June and December and now for D23 expo and the service here is great! After my second day my first stay here, the front desk knew my name and that was just from chatting with me when I walked in and out every day and were very generous with toiletries. I would say my favorite part about this place is the hotel staff. The room has a larger than normal fridge, keurig, and microwave which are all nice. The two downsides are if you're at a room facing the main street, it may be a little noisy. Also, after a long day in the park, it still is a 15-20 minute walk each way.

When we stay offsite, this is our hotel of choice. Great staff, clean rooms, Starbucks in the lobby and a short safe walk to the parks. Was just there again for a few nights last month.

Absolutely love it at Wyndham!! Ozzy is the best!! Stacy is awesome too. Always have wonderful stays at the Wyndham. ☺️

Ive stayed here twice and it is very nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable and I like that it is an actual hotel with inside hallways. Plus, they have free parking! My only issue is that it is just a little too far. By the end of the night, I was really dragging on that walk back. It is is more than 10 min walk.

Parking is no longer free.

Dang really? That was very quick, I was literally there earlier this week and checked out on Monday and it was free then. One thing that did happen while I was there was the internet went out and still wasn't fixed when we left. However, I just did a free signup for the benefits program of the IHG hotel next door and was able to use their internet. It wasn't the fastest but it did the trick.

Sorry - I'm talking about the wrong place.

I was referring to the Club Wyndham Anaheim at 201 W Katella, not the Wyndham Anaheim at 515 W Katella.

Ah got it. No worries, those two hotels have almost identical names and are so close to each other. It's actually pretty confusing sometimes as many of the hotels around there have such similar names. We did ask our hotel if we could go over to use Club Wyndham Anaheim's internet because we needed to send some documents in for work, but they're all independently operated so that didn't work.
