uniform for my daughter? It would have cost us $150 but my DD's friend's mom said she has tons of uniforms and we could have one. I really think we should do something for this mom but I'm not sure and we don't have alot of money to even pay half. Do you think $25 is ok?

Get her a GC for a mani and pedi at a local salon. Or, a $25 GC at a local restaurant. Make it something that she needs to use on herself.

Thanks for the great idea of a mani pedi or the restaurant gift card! You're right it should be something she would get out of it not just give her money where she might spend it on groceries

What about a photo memory book? You could do a couple of different things. A book with photos you take of her daughter (and a few with your daughter in the uniform with her daughter) or ask her for a CD of pictures of her daughter. This is something she will be able to cherish as well as display at graduation.
