So I am planning a trip to Ft. Lauderdale with my children and in-laws in Feb. I just realized that my 13 yr old's birthday will be that Sunday. So now I am thinking that I may try to sneak in a special one day stop at WDW for her birthday. Do you think I am nuts to consider this? We are driving and leaving Friday AM. We would get to Orlando on Saturday, stay either on site or nearby off site and the hit MK on Sunday for her birthday. Sunday evening I would drive the rest of the way to Ft. Lauderdale.
Am I crazy? (Ok I know I am but I mean for even thinking of doing this). I am also thinking of asking her Godfather (who we are going to see if he would drive up to meet us there.
ETA: Forgot an important part. That Sunday is the Sunday of President's Day weekend. Is is crazy crowded that weekend?
