My family will be traveling to Disney to celebrate my DH and mine 25th anniversary this July :goodvibes There will be a total of 7 of us, hubby and I and our 19 year old twins, their BF and GF (18 & 19) and my 14 yr old son. We plan on going for a total of 10 nights. We are renting points and have the first 3 nights (7/1 - 7/4) booked in a 2BR Value at AKV. We wanted to spend the next 7 nights at either BWV or BCV. We've stayed at both of the resorts before but have never stayed at the Villas, this will be the first time for us! Unfortunately there aren't any 2BR Villas available at either resort for the full 7 nights, but we can get 2 studios at the BWV. They do have a 2BR Savannah View at AKV but we really don't want to spend 10 nights there. So I need advice from the experts! Would you book the 2 studios at BWV and wait list for a 2BR and hope it comes through? Or would you book the 2BR at AKV and wait list for the 2BR at BW and hope it comes through? I guess it's a toss up between having the extra room or being in the location we want. I'm just really nervous that the 4 older kids will be tripping over each other in the studio. We don't spend alot of time in our rooms but seeing as how it's our anniversary I want everything to go smoothly lol
Like I said we've never stayed in the Villas so I'm not sure if we'll even have a shot if we wait list! Any opinions?!?!
Thanks guys!

I think if it was me, I woudl go with the 2 bedroom vs. the studios. I don't know how comfortable I would be with the fact that their studio could be far away from mine.

While you can request close, there is no guarantee. And, having the living room, gives you all the opportunity to continue to spend time together.

If you're renting points, make sure that the owner of the account has the availability to waitlist. If they themselves have no waitlists going on, and they choose to, they can waitlist for 2 categories, and can waitlist at both BCV and BWV for a 2 bedroom. I'd book the studios though just to get into the reservation system. I agree with Sandi though...would be nicer for all to be together.
A lot will depend on what the owner is willing to do for you.
Hope all goes well with your planning.

Keep in mind that the BWV studios all have one queen bed and one pull out that is the size of a double bed.

:) DH and I stayed in a studio at AKV for 9 nights last Nov. Yes, It would be diificult for 4 adults to stay in a studio more than a couple of days in my opinion. We did great....but it is just us.
