Hi--We're planning a summer visit to Disney World and have the option of staying in a standard room--theme park view at the Grand Floridian or Deluxe Studio--Theme Park View at Bay Lake Tower. We're a young family 2 adults and 2 kids--2yrs and 1yr.

We stayed at the Grand Floridian 2 years ago for our now 2 year old's first birthday--we loved our stay in a lake view room!

We like the idea of being able to walk right to MK from BLT as we'll be spending most of our time there, however, we're worried about the space--will it be too small for the 4 of us? Our 2yr old would be using the sofa bed and the 1yr old would be in the pack n play.

Which would you choose and why? Thanks in advance for your help!

I dont know for sure but I think the studio will be very tight with 4 of you. Plus IMO the GF has the splash pad which is really cute for the littles as well as a better pool. :) With that said, the walk to/from the MK can't be beat. :)

a link to a floor plan image of the BLT studio if that helps!

Thank you so much for your thoughts! That's the hard part is we've looked at/viewed so many pictures and videos that sometimes (probably depending on the angel) we think we could manage the studio and other times we want to run away! lol We just don't want to be confined to a space that is unmanageable with all 4 of us for 7 nights :)

Only you know if you can make that space work. If you can, walking to/from the park where you'll spend the bulk of your time (other than the pool) was a great thing! We loved our stays at the CR.

I would choose GF. You will get a bigger room and better resort amenities (better pools, restaurants, etc.). I've stayed at both many times and, other than walking to MK, CR really just doesn't hold a candle to GF as an overall resort.

I don't think the BLT studio would be large enough. My husband and I stayed there last October and that room was TINY. I can't imagine having 2 kids in there.

Where are the kids sleeping? If one is in a pack n play, it will be really tight in a BLT studio. Really, really tight. They are small rooms. How about one of the regular rooms at the Contemporary?
