Are you saying for a group that has more than 4 people? Im not sure, unless you have someone that cannot ride that you can do this. They have a child swap area that permits those who cannot ride to wait with their family til they get to the area. The other part of the group waits while the first group goes and then they switch so that the non rider does not have to wait by themselves... however I dont know that you can do this unless you have a non rider.

It's for a child swap as we'll have four potential riders and a toddler and we're hoping that we can all queue together and then split once we get to the loading station. Ordinarily we'd just split outside the ride entrance but, according to the Unofficial Guide, the ride and queue area alone would take up to 40 minutes to take it all in.

Yes, that's what child swap is for! They will switch you off in the Gryffindor Common room where the indoor test seats are. This is just before the Sorting Hat and loading area. They will take you to a room where they loop the first HP movie.

The child swap room is very cool and it is right by the entrance/exit to the ride. You can watch people getting on/off. I was impressed by the cs!
