Just like the Harry Potter films, portraits line the walls of Hogwarts castle, the home of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey – the marquee attraction of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. When passing through the Portrait gallery, guests will encounter several magical talking portraits created exclusively for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, including the four Hogwarts founders.

The office is an exact replica of the one seen in the Harry Potter films, and is the place where the Hogwarts headmaster officially welcomes you to Hogwarts.

Each time a little bit more information is released it makes it look more and more special.

Awesome!!!!!! Thanks for sharing! That looks so amazing! Something tells me I'll be at IOA rope drop next year!

I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, a Harry Potter fan (hav eonly seen 1 of the films) but I have to say I am really looking forward to this addition to Islands of Adventure. The pictures look amazing and make me even more excited to see it in August.

When this was first announced I was a bit luke-warm on the idea...but seeing the photos and info coming out recently I am so excited about going there in November!

Fantastic photo's!! We went to IoA last week and had a wander over to where the new land is, still not much to see, but what we did manage to look at was looking mightily impressive :thumbsup2

The actual castle is just breath-taking and all the small detail that can be seen so far just looks wonderful. It was a shame we didn't get to see more, but we'll be definitely be heading there on our next trip, whenever that may be!

There's a video available now as well

Oooh, great video! Awesome to see the FJ ride vehicles too!

Sorry, but it looks like nothing but gift and sweet shops with a couple of rides thrown in.

:lmao:And this differs from every other theme park in the world how??

Personally I think you only have to look at the detail they have gone to to try and recreate a place that millions of people are going to want to visit to know that it will be a huge success.
I am not a big HP fan, have never read any of the books and have only seen the films becasue my kids wanted to, so when I heard they were building WWOHP I wasn't particularly excited. But I am now looking forward to going and having a look around if only to see the look on my kids faces when they see it all for the first time :thumbsup2

Sorry, but it looks like nothing but gift and sweet shops with a couple of rides thrown in.

Well your wrong

Its actually gift and sweet shops with 1 ride thrown in. The other 2 are re-hashed versions of the same rides they always were. As Ive said in t'other threads, if the forbidden journey is a monumental ride then Universal will come out looking great. If on the other hand it is vastly over-hyped as a ride and it is merely good / ok then many more people like yourself will be quite critical of the project.

WoW, I think it looks amazing, we are huge HP fans and cant wait to have a butterbeer and some chocolate frogs!

Yipee not long now:banana:

I cant wait to see it all :goodvibes

I can't wait see this when we go in September - for whatever reason elsewhere on the DIS, people seem to be desperate to slate it for some reason. Whether there are new rides there or not, it's a chance to be immersed in the world of Harry Potter - my two little ones cannot wait.
