Hi,
We are heading to Disney for the week of Feb. 26th. We won't be going to the Disney parks until the 27th due to the crowd levels, but we will be in the area starting on the 24th. I have a couple of questions regarding the WWOHP at Universal.

My son is 6 and we are reading the Harry Potter series each night. We are on book 5. These are my questions:

1. At 6, will he be able to enjoy enough of the park to be worthwhile? He is a small six, so he is not 48" tall.

2. Only being at book 5, will it truly spoil anything for him to be at the park having not read the last books yet?

3. We would be going on Friday, February 25th which is still the week of President's Day. I know that the Disney parks are listed at very high levels of attendance that week, so I'm assuming that WWOHP would be, too. Is it not wise to go while that busy? I don't want to spend the money if we're elbow to elbow and miserable the whole time.

Thanks! I know that opinions vary, so I'm really just looking for some additional info to make an informed decision. If we don't go that day, we will be hanging out at our resort (Vistana on that day), and that will be fine! We might do the airboat rides or something of that nature if we don't do a park. Any other suggestions of activities in the area are appreciated as well (non Disney).

I'd wait until your son reaches the height requirements for all the rides. My children are all grown (17, 19, 22 & 26) and US/IOA is one of their favorite destinations.

We did a trip with my sister's family one year and one of her daughters (at time) was 9 and very petite. She didn't meet the height requirements on some of the bigger rides and was kind of disappointed.

I'd plan to go on another trip, take a least 2-3 days to truly see both parks, and stay on-site (if possible). Staying on-site gives you unlimited express pass (like a fast pass) access to almost all the rides.
