Well another monday -- after a weekend full of tempations, cookouts, desserts for dads, social eating and drinking, etc -- it's time to jump full force BACK ON PLAN!!!

I did well on Saturday and yesterday the chocolate temptations overcame me, then I realized TOM was to blame!

anyhoo -- for this week let's try something more along the line of Dr. Phil's first key -- positive thinking!

Each and every day post on this thread with either a postive thought or something you are thankful for -- all relating to your personal weight loss journey. Inspire me, motivate me, keep me excited about WW!!

are you game?

My legs have been swollen for the longest time. Recently, for the first time in a LONG time, they are looking almost back to normal. (I have ankles??? Who knew??) This is after being on WW for 7 weeks, and losing nearly 20 pounds.

I'm so happy I've decided to make a change in my life!

I started ww January 2 of this year and have lost a total of 58# so far!

I am right with you though with the weekend thing! During the week I have no problem because I work two jobs and I leave the house @ 7 a.m and don't get home until 11 pm so Monday through Friday is no problem. But after my ww meeting on Saturday it is like bring it on! I am trying to change that. Right now I figure just make it through Saturday and Sunday I will be able to eat. It is hard tho!

I'll get in on this challenge. I'm home from my trip, so I could use some positive thinking to get me past the post-Disney blues. ;)

My positive thought for the day is that even though my weight loss with WW has been sloooooooooow, when I put on my shorts at WDW, they were loose! These are the same shorts I wore in January, which were pretty snug at the time. The same goes for some t-shirts that I wore then .. they were loose this time too. And I could wear a skort that didn't fit at all in January. :bounce:

So even though the scale may not always be reflecting things the way I want it to, things like this show me I must be doing something right and good for myself.

Have a great day everyone. :)

Thanks so much for these threads! Reading some of the successes that you all have had with WW helps keep me upbeat and hopeful about my own losses. I've just started keeping track of points and I'm optimistic about the program.

I hope to be able to help other WISHers as you have helped me. :)

oops -- bad me -- issuing a challenge then forgetting it!!

I'm very thankful today that I was able to run with my neighbor (intervals) and keep up with her!! My gluts are sore from Monday's run and truly I am thankful I have the health to get out and exercise!!! I'm thankful I understand the impact exercsing has on my day-to-day -- in my energy levels and feeling good. you know, not that 'blah' feeling

today I am thinking positively about my body image :) Just saw a friend mentioned how muscular I looked. well i like the sounds of that. Today I'm choosing to like the definition (such as it is) in my thighs and overlook the width of them:teeth: I'm noticing a slight curvature inward in my waist and ignoring the poofiness of my lower abs:rolleyes:

Instead of focusing on what I don't like - i'm positively looking at the results I have gotten from years of exercising and the past year of eating much more healthier. It's so much more relaxing that way!

ok - this challenge went BUST!!!

that's ok -- today I'm thankful for my kids :) they are soo precious and dear and I'm thankful for my commitment to showing them a healthy lifestyle as a norm

Sorry ohMom! It's been a hectic week and I forgot I signed up. Thanks for staying the course though. :)

My happy thought for today actually comes from yesterday. Since I put on this weight, I've been a baggy clothes kinda girl. No rolls or ripples showing in public here. Yesterday, I wore a shirt to work that, just 2 months ago, was waaaay to tight to wear in public. And yesterday, it was a little baggy. I also decided that my favorite pair of jeans is on borrowed time, not because they're wearing out but because they're falling off!

It was funny, at first I was sad because I have to get rid of my jeans but after a bit, my brain finally went "Hey, you're getting rid of them because they're *too big*. That rocks!"

So today, I'm thankful for baggy clothes in a whole new way. ;)
