WW Online

How do you use your Points?

  • I only use my daily Point Allowance.

  • I occationally dip into my FlexPoints.

  • I use all my FlexPoints.

  • I swap all Activity Points.

  • I use all FlexPoints and Activity Points.

  • I repeatedly go over my limit for the week.

For all of you on WW Online... how do you find you use your points? And, how does it work for you? :cheer2:

The first week, I only used my daily value. I never used FlexPoints and I never swapped Activity Points. This week (obviously you lose more in your first week), I lost 5 lbs. Since then, I've been using my FlexPoints, or some of them, sometimes all, and once I went over. I've lost a stead 1 lb. per week but would like to kick that up! :banana:

I would love to hear your tactics. :wizard: I feel guilty when I use Flex Points... or Activity Points. :guilty:
 
I never use my activity points.......I just feel like it defeats the purpose!
I not to use all my Flex points but I do use some if I am feeling extra hungry.

I am on WW online too. My friend is on WW , but she goes to meetings. She was told that the flex points are given to you for a reason and that you should use. If you do not use them you can actually slow down your weight loss because your metabolism will slow down. I try to use mine and I have been losing 2 or 3 pounds a week. I have noticed when I try to cut too many points I don't lose as much....of course the same is true when I go over my points too. Drinking lots of water also helps you lose weight. That is my current goal...to drink more water. I don't usually trade my activity points for food either. I also feel like it sort of defeats the purpose of exercising.
Good luck....We can do it!!

Edit: one more thing....The first couple of weeks I lost 5 or 6 pounds too. Then my loss tapered off and now I typically lose 2 pounds a week.

That makes so much sense. The first week I lost 5 lbs. and now only 1 lb. per week. I have no problem in the water area but don't always get in all of my diary and veggies/fruits. I'll try to use all my FlexPoints and get in all my fruits, etc. New goal for me!!! :cheer2:
 

Hi misslissa :wave: I did not actually vote in the poll because this is my first week doing WW online. Most days so far, I have not used any flexpoints, but we went out for Mexican food last night and I did use 6 points extra. One day I have used one activity point, but I think I earned 5 that day. (Water aerobics) I am going to try different things and see how the weight goes. I have been working out 6 days a week for almost 2 months now with no loss so far, so I am hoping that keeping track and within my points will get things started.
 
I usually use some of my flexpoints and I don't use my activity post. I agree with another poster who says they feel like that defeats the purpose.

I tend to lose more weight the weeks that I use most of my flex points and most weeks, I use them all or almost all of them. I think my body needs them to kick up the metabolism. I usually figure out how many activity points I earn, and some times use them, and sometimes do not. It depends on my cravings in the evening. If I'm out of daily points, and low on flex points, I'll use the activity points.
You should try to use more flex points and see if that increases your losses. Also, if you exercise a lot, and earn a lot of activity points, your body may need you to use them in order to keep your metabolism up. Good luck and congratulations on the weight loss.
