Does anyone have any quick, satisfying and good breakfast ideas for WW plan??? Please include points. Thanks.

Oatmeal (2-3 pts)
Fruit (1-2 pts)
Those little boxes of cereal (2-3 pts)
Muffin (6 pts)
Light wheat toast (2 slices = 1 pt)
Scrambled Eggs (1 egg = 2 pts)
Small Bagel (3 pts) w/light Cream Cheese (1 pt)
Turkey Bacon (3 slices = 2 pts)

Egg beaters (1/2 c.) = 2 pts, serve with 2 slices of lite white bread with lite margarine, total for breakfast = 4 points

2 Whole Wheat Eggo's with small amount of lite margarine = 4 points.

Thanks guys, I just joined WW on line last night. I think I need a change from what I've been doing, I just wasn't getting started again. Anyway, now I'm sitting here wondering what in the world should I have for breakfast. I've done the points for WW, but that was probably 8 years ago, so it's going to take me time to get some of these figures in my mind. Thanks again for the ideas.

I don't know what the points are, but I usually have a 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal with a 1/2 banana mushed in it OR a 1/2 an English muffin, toasted, with 1 tbsp whipped cream cheese and a half a banana.

Good luck!!! :) You can do it!!!!!!!!!

I don't very much on my breakfasts too much, but these are mine.

1 cup of cream of wheat = 2 points (paired with cup of milk 2pts, and margarine 1 pt) total 5 points

better n eggs omelette 1 cup = 2points
1 slice 2% american cheese = 1point
1 tbs bacon bits = 1point
green pepper = 0 point

women's health oatmeal = 3 points
(the extra point is worth it, becuase it counts as a milk for the day)

tiggerlover, double check your points for the egg beaters my package of Better'n eggs is this:

1/4 cup is 30 calories with o fat and o fiber = 1 point

1/2 cup is 60 calories with 0 fat, and 0 fiber = 1 point

3/4 cup is 90 calories with 0 fat and 0 fiber = 2 points

1 cup is 120 calories with 0 fat and 0 fiber = 2 points

As I don't have time to eat at home, I bring a cup of cereal (no milk) to much on at the office -- that's about 2 points (depending on cereal). I also have a cup of International Flavor coffee which runs from 1-2 points (depending on the flavor).

One day a week I usually have a bagel (high point item at 6 pts without anything on it -- I sparingly use a little butter). I try to have only half in the morning and half at lunch with a piece of fruit.

I wanted a BIG breakfast on Saturday. Here is what I had:

1/2 cup egg beaters - 2 pts
1 light english muffin - 1 pt
3 slices low fat bacon - 2 pts

Only 5 pts. and I was completely satisfied. I was happy with just a salad for lunch after that breakfast.

WOW!!! Thanks, I'm writing out my grocery list as the ideas come in and have a whole bunch of "non boring" ideas. That's one thing I always did on WW in the past is get stuck in the "one meal rut".

I don't vary my breakfast routine much. But I didn't before WW either. ;)

Cheerios w/skim milk = 4 pts
1 slice wheat toast w/peanut butter, 1/2 cup skim milk = 5 pts

The toast w/ peanut butter really holds me over until lunch well, so that is my typical choice on a busy day.

Okay, you know what they say happens when you assume.....

Thanks, Vija, I did check my container and you are right. What I was doing was taking 1/4 cup at 30 calories with no fat or fiber and doubling it for two points. I just pulled out my trusty points calculator and plugged in the 60 calories etc. and lo and behold it was only 1 point....and to think I was cheating myself out of a whole point for three months!!! Thanks for pointing out my mistake, Vija.

8 ounces of potatoes cooked in pam and fried with some oinion and spices (10 ounces raw) makes some great homefries for 3 points

Omlette with egg beaters
1/2 cup egg beaters 1 point
2 slices ff chesese- 1 point
1-2 ouncess ham- 1-2 points

fruit ot toast

For about 7-8 points I can have a huge breakfast

Also brown and serve light maple sausage is a point a link and real bacon is a point a slice!!! So there are many possibilities.

Eggo Walfuls- the kind with filing are 3 points each. Just toast and go!!

I have a whole page of things I like and new stuff to check out at the grocer tomorrow. I had a challenging day today, but I did good. This AM we had nothing around for breakfast, so I did McDonalds. 9 points for a cheese danish, then it's DH's afternoon off, so I knew I'd have another challenge. 14 points for my favorite Oriental salad. I know it's all allot, but now I'm having 1 1/2 cups milk and a cup of fruit salad, and coffee with cream tonite. Not much of a supper, but I'm doing it on a challenging day and I sure enjoyed my breakfast and lunch. Tomorrow first thing it's off to the grocer, to fill my cupboards with some lower point items, so I can start "normal". Going to check out the on-line recipe page now. Thanks again for all the great ideas!!!

4oz lite yogurt mixed w/4oz reduced fat cottage cheese-=3pts

Special K cereal Bars=2pts.

Check out my recipe for Zesty Egg cups =2pts on the WW recipes thread.

Other than these, I eat the oatmeal and/or fruit like everyone else.:)

tiggerlover, I am glad that it worked out that way for you too! Every available point is very valuable! LOL!!!!!!;)

I haven't done WW in about 8 years either, but an old favorite of mine was cottage cheese with a piece of fresh fruit. It kept me full and satisfied until lunch. My favorite is some pineapple which I stir in, nice because it doesn't matter the season you can get that canned. I buy a large tub of cottage cheese and make several small servings (I eat this on low carb too) which I can grab with a piece of fruit from the bowl or a can from the pantry. Not sure of the points though... Sorry.

Another favorite that I would guess would be good for WW is grab a small apple, a piece of string cheese (lowfat mozerella) and a few triscuits. That is another of my on the go things. The triscuits are whole wheat, so they are a good source of whole grain, I buy the low fat ones as they don't have any added sugar either. Again, not sure of the points.
