The crux of the story is that kids have no idea who Walt Disney was and are surprised that he was a real person. Also how Disney is addressing the celebration.

My two favorite quotes from the article are a WDW spokesperson saying that the event in Florida “is a celebration about 100 years of magic, not Walt’s lifetime,” and Diane Disney calling the same event “an odd little affair”.
