Is there one boat that makes the loop at each stop around the lagoon or does one boat loop between Mexico/Germany and another between Canada/Morocco. Also how often do they run and about how long is the trip? I'm working on touring plans and trying to see as many performers as possible. TIA! :goodvibes

One boat goes between Mexico and Germany (and Mexico and Germany), over and over. The other boat goes between Canada and Morocco, over and over. Many of the skippers on the boats have a funny spiel about their exciting travels each day.

I think the boats go about every 15 or 20 minutes; it takes about 7 minutes to get from one dock to the other. (I never timed it, but that's what it felt like.)

If a boat is at the dock and you can jump on it then, it will be a bit faster than walking briskly to the same destination.

I know this is a bit older of a post but I wanted to clarify something since as a former FS boat captain, this confused a lot of people.

These routes are not fixed. The routes described above are the 'ideal' routes but often early in the morning and possibly every now and then throughout the day, they will only run one boat in the lagoon. When this happens, the route is Mexico-Morocco-Germany-Mexico. There is never any notice given since the captains have no advanced warning. When you go to get on the boat, just glance and see if there is one or two boats in the lagoon and if you only see one, ASK! Also, keep in mind that even if the boat runs between Morocco and Germany in the morning when you first get to Epcot, there is a very good chance that it will not be the next time you go to get on.

And that was the case Memorial Day weekend. We were looking for a quick trip to Germany, but, once we realized that the boat would be full circle, we got off in Morrocco, walked and beat the boat. The boat is not always a sure bet to be the quickest way around. Not to mention there are far more people in line to board the boat, since each loop takes longer to complete. So, it's more crowded as well.
