Wrong # of kids on package reservation?

I'm wondering if this is going to be a problem WRT our dining plan.

I upgraded our (will be) 9 year old to an adult for our trip since she's at that age where she eats like a horse and prefers adult food. Now, when I log on to our reservation home page, it says we have 2 adults, and 4 kids, when it should be 3 adults and 2 kids (I think), so 5 total, not 6. When I view the details of the reservation, it has the numbers and ages correct, however. Should I be worried they are adding an extra person (and credits) to our reservation? We have free dining, so the cost wouldn't change. I don't want to check in, and screw up our trip because they think we have 4 kids when we really have 3.

I would be sure you aren't being charged for 6 park tickets. The free dining plan requires a park ticket so that might have also been added to your reservation if there is an extra person.

We did the same with our newphew last year, and had the same result. had Guests (7) even though tere were only 6 people listed..

I'm pretty sure they aren't charging us for another ticket, since the overall cost is pretty much the same.

I've had this happen before. The system sometimes does not update. Does there happen to be a cancellation noted next to one of the guests?

We did the same thing and just like yours it showed an extra person...in our case three adults and one child. I think I read somewhere that they do this because for whatever reason they want to know the actual age of your child so they leave it on there.

Worked out great.. we had 6 people, 6 tickets and 6 adult dining plans it was scrumptious!

I'm feeling better about it now, thanks! I was worried because I have read on here so much that you have to have every person there at check in, or bad things happen, like they cancel your reservation, and I didn't want that to happen to us due to a glitch. Thanks!

We have 2 adults and 2 kids showing on our ressie. My kids are 16 & 17. I paid for and expect them to have the adult dining plan. I think if they are under 18 it still shows them as kids, not adults...but not sure why they didn't decrease the total for you.
