Wrong name on everything!

Looking for advice. Bit of context first. When we purchased DVC, my husbands name was not correct on the deeds and so is registered as a DVC member with the name he is known by rather than the name on his ID.

We have booked to go to WDW this summer and the booking is under my name with his DVC known by name as the second guest. I've made a Moonlight magic booking for AKL but so far it hasn't wanted his name, only mine. Unfortunately, his WDW ticket is under his actual name so his DVC booking and the ticket names don't match. If I change the name on the DVC booking now, what will the impact be?

Will it cancel the Moonlight Magic booking?
What else could it mess up?

I only want to do this because the MDE seems to view us as separate parties so I won't be able to book us on Genie+ or LL at 7am.
 
You should be able to change the name on the reservation without it impacting anything else.

I would call MS or chat to do it if you want to confirm, but match it to MDE.
 
As Sandi said it shouldn't matter. If names don't match exactly between the DVC Reservation and MDE it will prompt you to match it in MDE (for example if ours names are in all caps -- which they default to when we make a DVC reservation -- then we have to match them to our properly capitalized names in MDE.
 
Thanks guys, I managed to get through to guest services who sorted out the issue. Everything now matches, except for the membership name but she's sending us a form to fill in to have that sorted. (not til we get back)
