Writstbands @ Nick Hotel?

We will be staying at the Nick hotel in May 2007. They said something about wristbands? Can someone tell me what these are used for and when they check for them? I really don't want to wear a band to WDW all week. I was planning on checking in without my family. They wanted to stay behind at the parks for the day (WDW). Can I check in without them? Will they give me their bands to give them? Do they have individual names on them? I don't like my little ones wearing their names around their wrist. Do they stay on good on your little ones? Thanks for any advice

I can answer some of your questions...we stayed there in January. Everyone who stays at Nick Hotel MUST wear the wristbands at all times. They do not have names on them. I think they are colored coded based on your departure date. They actually charge a fee if you lose one and need a new one. The Nick Hotel is very strict about only allowing it's hotel guests on property. I don't know if they will give you the ones for your family, or if they will need them to come to the front desk.

while at the parks or when you're away from the hotel, just cut it off and keep it and then bring it to the hotel front desk and they can put a new one on for you.

they give them to you at check-in to put on yourself. there's no names on them.
if you cut them off and lose them, they're $25.00 each to replace.

They don't print any names on the wrist bands. They are color coded. You have to have them on all the time. There is no way i could see them falling off kids hands no matter how little. Everything will be fine. I am sure you can check in and bring the rest of your family later to get your wrist bands.
