I just sent a letter to Contact Us. I encourage all of you to send a letter to VMK and the Disney offices(I don't know their address, if somebody could please post it, thanks). We do not want VMK to close.

Let's try this: everyone writes a totally original letter about why they don't want VMK to close. It can be a memoir, a persuasive essay, an OI piece (preferably prose), whatever. Just make seven copies of it.

This is where the scheduling comes in. We'll decide the week that this happens. Aengus will announce the details of the event on his podcast ( ) and it will be distributed to all of the VMK players that really care.

Here's what we do: Every day for a week, send one of those copies to Disney. Make sparse changes to each copy of the letter (such as the returning name, or wording of the letter) so that they don't seem like they're obvious clones.

Please, make sure you send those letters to the right person at Disney Online or they will never be seen by the right people. Don't bother with the contact us link on vmk's main page, I doubt anyone is working that anymore anyway. Also, don't flood anyone with the same letters!!! These people are NOT stupid, they get paid well to notice things like that. Be original, be kind and use your spell checker! Type a well written letter and sign it by hand. Address your envelopes, again by hand. Those are the little things that will make someone actually read your letter.
I will be writing mine tomorrow.
