Wrapping Tink gifts before leaving question.

My DH told me that someone took wrapped gifts on a flight and they opened them when the luggage was checked. Does anyone know if this is true. Do you normally wrap your gifts before you fly or do you do it at the resort?

We had dd's gifts wrapped at the resort-the gift shops wrap for $1-2/package. Not sure if airlines would open gifts or not-but it wouldn't surprise me!

The airline won't open them, but security very well might.
People have posted (especially at Christmas time) that their gifts were unwrapped.
If you wrap them, it's best to do it in a way that allows them to be examined without the wrapping being destroyed. Gift bags with tissue works well. Or, wrapping after you get there.

I was thinking of taking gift bags or gift wrap and doing it there. Do you know if the Diney store will sell you those cute giftboxes. We have 5 children and if you take that x's 7 days that can get quite expensive.

I had heard that security would unwrap them too so I was going to take paper and tape and wrap them there. Then I got the idea to mail them down to my sister since we're staying with her our first 2 days of vacation. If you're staying on property you could wrap at home and mail them down to your resort ahead of time like I've heard others do with food/diapers.

My plan was to bring the flat wrapping paper and wrap when we got there. I have not found any cute paper that was in the flat wrap. I found several rolls of Disney paper at the dollar tree but no flat wrap. Anyone know where I could find some? It does not have to have Christmas theme. Thanks!
