Hey all! I'm new to the forum....and have found it to be very helpful so far! Does anyone have any info or comments about the following:

Wedding Pavilion Ceremony
Grand Floridian Reception (White Room)
Morrocco Terrace Dessert Party

We just just selected a date in November 2007. We are VERY excited! Any tips/comments would be great!

Thanks!

Congratulations! The Whitehall room and the patio area are beautiful! You must have a smaller group if you are able to do the full reception there. Morocco terrace is also a great place for smaller groups. I think the next step up in terms of size is one of the UK Terraces but you need a minimum of 20 guests for those areas.

Whitehall is very pretty...if my group fit I would have chosen the GF for that room.:thumbsup2

First, Congratulations!! :)

The locations you are looking at are fantastic. I only have information about the wedding pavilion, but it is truly spectacular!! We just came back from our wedding there this past weekend and it is amazing!!! You will not regret your decision to have it there!

What time of wedding are you going to be having?? It is beautiful in the daytime as well as night, although I am particular to the evening :)

Congrats to you too!

The wedding is going to be at 2:30 in the afternoon. We were originally shooting for a later wedding but we wouldn't be able to fit everything in before the dessert party.

Do you have any pictures from the Wedding Pavilion yet?

What is the Whitehall like at the GF? Or the Morrocan Terrace? There must be so many other venues that are available but aren't mentionned in the Wish Book.

Check out this site: tazfoto.com/webhtml/wdw_locations.htm . It has pics of the Whitehall Room and Morroco Terrace. Our wedding coordinator recommended the Whitelhall room for us b/c we have a small party (18). The Morroco Terrace is only available for small groups. The next step up would be the UK Terrace I believe. Hope this helps :)

You can see video of the Whitehall room on stvsweddings.com in the bride's gallery. Look for the Lisa and Joel montage.

That wedding is just the SWEETEST! I was sat here "ooohing" and "ahhhhhing" and my DF was thinking I was losing the plot.....!

The wish book shows the whitehall room and the patio attached to it...you have to click on "Grand Floridian" as the reception option...and then click the "View" button in the upper right hand section of the screen. It will start a slide show of the different spaces at the GF. They aren't labeled but the Whitehall room is the one that shows the Piano in the center of the room and also has the circular table photo. The patio is the one with the fancy cookout styled tables.

NOW I see it! Thank you! I'm still learning!!! :wizard:
