I will refrain from commenting for now. Most of you know by now that I am an Obama supporter.

Wow? Rude people are everywhere. Sounds like most were civil. Obama does have socialist tendencies.

The article really doesn't have a "Wow" moment for me. This election, as most, brings out the most opinionated ones in any group. Sometimes the opinions stated can be backed up with supporting evidence, and sometimes they can't. Some rude behavior, yes, but nothing newsworthy. As PP stated, rude people are everywhere.

Yeah, so some rude redneck made some comments that made headlines. Sounds like for the most part Obama experienced southern hospitality -- and I imagine experienced some good ol' down home cooking.

I also imagine politicians have to develop a thick skin to things like that. Otherwise they aren't going to last long.

It seems like the majority of people were courteous to him, even though they weren't going to vote for him. I have to believe that he probably wasn't expecting the warm reception he had in St Louis.

I don't believe that he's a Muslim. But if I did, I guess I don't see how that would necessarily be a bad thing either. Kind of like calling someone "gay" as an insult.

Eh, I dunno. I'll be glad when this election is over.

That one woman quoted was a witch - she wouldn't even shake his hand, after yelling at him to leave. She just prooved what an uneducated bigot she was.

I particularly like Obama's comment about "I've talked to people in Texas."

Most people have manners enough to keep their traps shut and control themselves instead of being so blatantly rude.
