Wow, what year is this?!

I talked to my SIL a little while ago. Her son is going into 1st grade. They got a call and a visit from his soon to be new teacher. She's new to the school and is going around to introduce herself and meet all her students in their homes before the first day of school!!!

This sounds like something from the days of Little House on the Prairie! I bet she'll be a great teacher to care this much!

Kaylee's preschool teacher did that this year too!! I was SO impressed we were debating on whether or not to send her but that just kind of sealed the deal! She brought a little sand bucket with her OWN crayons and some Godlfish crackers! Kaylee now RAVES about Ms. Tooson ( Mrs. Thuesen )
