I'm so glad I stayed up to watch it. :D

This might be a spoiler so if you are a no spoiler type you might want to close your eyes.

I missed the beginning of the show so I don't know if I missed anything major, but weren't they saying last week that someone would be kidnapped? I kept waiting at the end for that to happen. Did I hear wrong?

No one else watches the West Wing? I don't believe it.

I used to watch it. Boycotting Martin Sheen.

I also heard that "tease" in the promotional advertisement regarding a kidnapping. No one was kidnapped that I saw--maybe it will be on an upcoming sweeps episode? It was a good episode last night. I love West Wing!

I kinda figured the kidnapping would be the season finale. Seems like a finale type event. My sister and I are betting on Zoey, Mom thinks it'll be Donna.

I enjoyed last night's -- but did the egg have some greater symbolism? If so, I totally missed it.

I think the kidnapping thing is going to be part of May sweeps/season finale. I also think the daughter, Zoe, because all of a sudden she is around again. Last night, the opening "previously on the West Wing" was all about her...

I don't watch this show (the politics of the "president" are too liberal and annoying to me), but I did see the promo. It actually said something like...

"...and before it's all over, someone very close will be kidnapped."

May sweeps is my guess.

I read an article somewhere recently about how much the ratings for this show dropped when Martin Sheen started making his comments about the war. I don't think that d.kurz is the only one boycotting.

No, not really -- just one of the usual running jokes that WW does a lot. CJ kept insisting that an egg could stand on end at midnight of the Vernal Equinox and they kept telling her she was loony. :teeth:

Great episode last night -- I love the role they've written for Charlie's character and the addition of Will Bailey was a great choice!! :)

*shrug* But a lot of times, they do running jokes which have deeper meaning -- like that one with the chess that was really a comparasion of the game and what was happening, and another that had tons of sports references which had a deeper meaning (something to dow ith the debate, I think). I dunno, I guess sometimes the show just goes right over my head and I can't tell when things are even supposed to have a deeper meaning. LOL

Bryan loves Will, though. I guess if they couldn't replace Sam with a cute guy, a funny guy is almost as good... :)

Ahhh -- I see what you mean now. Ummm, if there was a greater meaning to it, it went over my head this time too! :teeth:

I JUST LOVE THAT SHOW! It's really the only one I follow.

Last night's episode was really good....poor CJ, no one around to see!

I agree, I think Zoe will be the victim in the last episode, they really seemed to be setting things up for that.
