WOW! We REALLY got our luggage tags

We got out tags on Friday (34 day point). Now I am ready for the ME tags, that means that we are getting closer. I am excited about going again. It will be so much fun with just hubby and I.

I received my package with the luggage tags 2 days ago in the mail. We don't arrive at WDW till Sept. 29th, so I got mine 38 days or so before. I assumed I received them when I did because I had just finished paying off our vacay about 10 days prior. They are very nice with the holographic affect.

Just to be clear -- what OhioTony got were luggage identification tags (the kind you write your name and address on) that are a "perk" of booking a WDW package. He did not get yellow baggage tags that are to be placed on checked luggage so it will be pulled and delivered via Magical Express.

We got our tags yesterday -- a first for me since we've never booked a package before. Now if my sister's DME tags would only come!

We booked a MYW package with on-site lodging/food/tickets all in one, through Small World Vacations. We'll be driving down instead of flying, but the kids would still love to have special tags!

DH and I are booked through DU for a package and wonderful Sue Ellen sent our luggage tags with papers on the Sept trip (not ME tags). They arrived on Friday the 19th; we travel to WDW on Sept 16.

I'm going in two weeks and received both my luggage tags and my ME tags. We got the ME tags about 25 days before our departure date. If anyone wants me to mail them one of my Happiest Celebration luggage tags, let me know. I still have the Tinkerbell ones on from last year so I have one I'm not going to use.

The ME tickets do have the name of your resort on them so hide those from your DH if you are trying to surprise him.

AND was anyone else pleasantly surprised to receive a coupon for free pins and lanyards in their ME package? I thought that we weren't getting them with the MYW packages!

Sorry if I created confusion ( I'm known to do that occasionally)!

The tags we got were luggage tags. The ones you get for ME are apparently different(we have never flown down).

I believe you can get them whether you booked through Disney Travel or not because we booked through an agent last year and still got them.

I would say if you have paid in full , are less then 30 days away from departure and still have not received your LUGGAGE tags that you should call just to make sure everything is OK.

We got them last year. They had Tink on them . We booked through a TA alsoand did not fly.

Maybe it's time to re evaluate your relationship with your sister!

We are at 30 days and nothing yet When you book thru a ta, does the ME tags get sent to them or to you directly? I wish I could just get my luggage tags....oh well....

Well your in the same position that I'm in. Yours are prob. lost in the mail. Mine were sent out on July 27th and we still haven't recieved anything. So now Disney has to put a rush order on my tags and send them to CAA.

I'm still so ticked off!!!!!!!!! HMmmmmmmmmmmm

My AAA agent said our travel documents will go to the AAA office about 2 weeks before departure. I don't know if the Magical Express stuff will go to her also.

I think everyone who books a package gets ID tags for their luggage.

Everyone who books Magical Express SHOULD get yellow bar-code tags, 2 per person. Each FAMILY with a ME ressie should get a coupon for one pin and one lanyard.

At least that's how I understand it to work. Now, some people won't get ME tags at all. Some people will get multiple sets of ME tags! Our last trip was room only so I am anxious to see what actually shows up for us this time since we have a package and Magical Express.

Yes, you will. Once you've paid off your vacation in full, your final documents (including your luggage tags) will be sent to your TA. He/She should then forward it all on to you.

Just got email from my TA saying the same thing Vacation was paid in full last week, so maybe they'll be here pretty soon. I'm so happy -- my kids will be absolutely thrilled with them.

It's hard to believe we're already barely over a month away from our trip!

WDW1st-timers,

I'm not sure what part of Canada you live in. I live in Regina, and I know everytime Disney sends something to me, it takes 3 weeks to a month to get to me. Last year we got our confirmation papers and luggage tags about a week before we left. I'm not expecting my ME tags to arrive on time at all if they send them 21 days before departure.
