Saw this and it reminded me of this discussion - not sure how I feel about this and really dislike the founder based on this comment - ""You absolutely don't need consent from someone who's dead," he said. "My mom could've hated the idea, but this is what I wanted and I'm alive."

Yeah, sad and scary, as far as I'm concerned. It's an example of what I was mentioning upthread about people willingly withdrawing more and more from reality into the virtual (NOT REAL) world that is more attractive. I hate all of this and the worst part is we're really still just on the cusp.
