I just realized that I'm sitting in my kitchen belting out 'N Sync:eek:

I hope no one sees.

Are they still together? I thought they broke up.

I don't know enough of an n'Sync song to sing one but I've done similar singing only to realize what song I'm singing. Why is it the cheesier the song, the easier it is to remember the lyrics and sing it without realizing?

Hey, no need to be embarrassed! Belt it out baby! <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008_ZSxdm31547US' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_1_127.gif' alt='Famous 6' border=0></a>

;)

I'll see your embarrassment and raise you one:

I'm in the kitchen finishing up a batch of beer. I have the surround sound going with some blues playing. All of a sudden, I hear this "bleep bleep" like when someone arms the alarm on their car. I don't think anything about it.

A minute later I hear it again "bleep bleep". OK, so someone got in and out of their car again. I go back to finishing up.

The CD finishes. I hear "bleep bleep". Alright, WTH? I go in the living room and stand there listening. A minute goes by, I hear "bleep bleep" only now it sounds like it's coming from the kitchen. I check my cell phones for low battery warnings - nope, not that. Can't be my boyfriend's cell phone, he has it with him. I hear it again "bleep bleep". It sounds like it's coming from outside on the back porch? I go out there and wait.

Nothing. Just as I get back in the door, I hear it again "bleep bleep".

I figure it must be a smoke alarm. I check the one in the hallway - fine. I hear it again "bleep bleep". Coming from the kitchen now. I am not going to listen to this all day; I HAVE to find this. As I'm standing in the kitchen, I decide to gather up the garbage. I open the door to the back stairs and I spy a smoke alarm there. I set the garbage bag down, and as I'm checking this smoke alarm, I hear it again "bleep bleep". It's not the smoke alarm - it's coming from over my left shoulder. I think maybe it's something in the garbage bag. I bend over and as I'm digging through the bag, I hear it again "bleep bleep" - definitely sounds like something in the garbage. I go get an empty bag and as I start moving garbage from one bag to the other, I hear it again "bleep bleep". Now it sounds like it is coming from the new bag. The only things in this bag are empty, except for one thing:

Awhile back this guy at work gave me some baby bunnies. I had bought a small bag of pine bedding and only used a bit of it. I found it yesterday and had thrown it away. Could it be in this bag of pine bedding? Did someone lose a watch in it or something? I sit down on the floor and hold it up to my ear and wait.

"bleep bleep"

That didn't come out of the pine bedding. It came out of my boyfriend's COAT which is hanging right over my head.

The cell phone he uses for work is in his pocket and has a low battery.

I nearly threw the thing across the room!

I am still laughing thinking about myself sitting on the floor by the back stairs holding a bag of pine bedding to my ear waiting on it to "bleep bleep".
