Wow..Tags

I've had other tags that I lost when I was put on the naughty mat, were "retired" and later sold on eBay, and accidentally erased by me.

What I wouldn't give to be tag fairy for a day!

I think the Tag Fairy took pity on me. Everyone around me got tags. It was like a tag epidemic, only I had been vaccinated. It was as if I was immune to a tag of any kind. It was like I was walking around with a sign on my head that read 'ALLERGIC TO TAGS'. (you've probably gotten my point by now) Anyway, everyone around me would get them, then comment about it. Finally I posted back to them and I said what it says in my tag! I was so pleasantly surprised to find that tag!! (thanks again, Tag Fairy!)

My first tag was from a comment I made on someone's thread who was talking about not having tags. I said "I think the TF is allergic to me!"

The 2nd is about my dh, I was responding on a post. My dh is always losing things & I always tell him that he would have probably lost his "manhood" a long time ago if it wasn't attached, but I had to clean it up for the boards. & the TF used it.

The 3rd is from a comment I made about being on the boards at work.

I got mine after I hung around in a thread where the Tag Fairy had been seen. Both of the colorized tags are from Teen Board threads; the first was from when I was laughing about a Star Wars spoof on YouTube; I said that I loved that particular video because I was an extreme Star Wars geek. The second was when I found a news article about the Virgin Mary on a piece of toast very quickly and when someone commented on it, I said that Google was my best friend. The black one is what I had before I was tagged.

I used to have three other tags that I lost when I added the Boys one. Dumb me. Now I wish I could get rid of it because it doesn't really apply anymore. I've learned my lesson though so I'll leave it alone.

The avacado tag is from a thread asking what foods you now love that you used to not like. I replied I love avacados after having some great guacamole at a wedding reception. In fact, I love it so much I don't want to share, so don't touch.

The Sheltie tag is from a thread I started asking if other people had a dog that hated to get their picture taken. I got that one about a week after I lost my other tags.

The evil tag is from a thread about taking your own snacks into the movies. I do but it was almost like you were the Devil if you did that.

The Disney Baby in mine is my own. It had a double meaning. First, because I was new here and felt that everyone else was a Dis Veteran, so I was going with Baby because I didn't really like "Newbie". (And I don't like Veteran either, so I'd prefer Legend if I ever get there.) And the other meaning was as though we were saying "We're going to Disney, Baby!! Oh yeah!"

The other two are courtesy of the tag fairy and are from a thread last year that asked people to list 5 things about themselves that DISers didn't know about them.

My first one is self explanatory! I hate birds and they freak me out big time!!!

The second one was in relation to a thread about bands and what era or kind you liked and I said I'll be big hair biased because I grew up in the 80's with all the "Big Hair" bands......Poison, Motley Crue, Def Leopard, Whitesnake, Aerosmith etc.

Now if I just had one about my love of Orlando I would be content.

I'm so sorry you lost your tag! I can't wait to get my first one. It feels like you all are members of an exclusive club that I'm trying to get into.
I had a dream that I was finally touched by the Tag Fairy... The next morning I actually ran to my computer with much anticipation to see if my dream came true, but alas no tag. I hope to meet you some day Tag Fairy. Until then, I remain your humble servant.

My first is a self-tag that the tag fairy was kind enough to colorize for me (woo hoo!) and refers to Off Kilter, which is also the meaning behind my screenname. The 2nd was from the "stupid ways you've hurt yourself" thread and was the conclusion I drew after a night of drinking said generic rum, then ripping my forearm open on an antique door latch and then slipping and cracking my head on a bathtub while my friend was attempting to repair the damage to my arm. Ah, youth.

The last was from the PooWatch thread...long may it live in infamy.
