really is AWFUL!!! I know so many of you have mentioned that, but I figured we'd give it a shot. The chili burp was beyond gross and the whole attraction was just bad. Another one of those times where they should have just let a good attraction alone. :rolleyes:

Its not like any of the previous attractions in this location were much better. Alien Encounter did nothing for me. I though the preshow for AE was better than the actual show. The techonlogy in Mission to Mars was very outdated when replaced by AE.

It looks like they are stuck with trying to keep reworking those two circular rooms. As long as they keep to the building layout with the 2 circular rooms I don't think anything too spectacular will end up in this building.

I agree with you phisigprincess... Horrible!!
I was upset they took AE out, I liked it. Before AE was opened they did some trial runs and it was too scary so they toned it down... I think they should have made it scarier and left it as AE.
I understand that Disney is so proud of Stitch since it is the first film actually made at Disney, but come on... Disney could have done something so much better than just throwing something together...The beginning I feel is the worst... they kept the same characters that were in AE and threw Stitch in... what is that about? Disney kinda "cheaped out" on this. Look at Winnie the Pooh... they kept the same tracks but it is Pooh, not Mr Toads Wild Ride with Pooh thrown in. Just my 2 cents :wizard:

I agree with the previous poster.

First of all, when I first did this attraction I thought it was better than was being given credit for. However each time I do it, I dislike it more. It really is a waste.

HOWEVER, like the previous poster said, with that building layout, if they keep it like that, there's only so much they can do.

One obstacle I think that Disney has as opposed to most theme parks is that they never close for the winter. They do not want to HEAVILY show construction and demolition and without a closing season, it's hard for them to really do this kind of work without it looking bad.

Putting in a new attraction is one thing, but realistically they need to tear the building down and rebuild it to get something great in there, and Im sure they've actually at times thought about and wanted to do it.

However, can you imagine the scene that would be tearing down and rebuilding the entire building? It just would look bad and I think this is the type of thing that REALLY hinders Disney and stumps it's imagineers.

FYI they did not keep the same track from Mr. Toad when they put in Pooh. Mr. Toad had two tracks, Pooh only has one.

::yes:: I loved Mr. Toad!

They did, however, keep the same tracks from Dreamflight (and same layout) in what is now Buzz Lightyear. I cannot ride Buzz without thinking of Dreamflight instead (and the similar aviation themed attraction sponsored by Eastern Airlines before that -- what was that called? I can't remember!).

If You Had Wings...I loved that ride as a child.

We met a family recently who had never been to WDW until last May. They asked if we had ever seen the Stitch show. They said it was the absolute worst. I hadn't even said anything about what I had heard and they went on and on about how bad it was. While I wasn't a big AE fan, it was somewhat fun...guess we'll skip Stitch.
