my buddy just got to eat at Club 33 tonight. All he had to do was give up a night at the Grand Floridian cause his wife wanted to stay there. If you can afford club 33 shouldn't u be able to get a room at the Floridian? Lol. I would totally do this.

Club 33 is definitely on DH & bucket list. What an amazing opportunity. Hope the food and wine was as good as reported.

Club 33 is a private club located in the heart of the New Orleans Square section of Disneyland. Officially maintained as a secret feature of the theme park, the entrance of the club is located next to the Blue Bayou Restaurant at "33 Royal Street" with the entrance recognizable by an ornate address plate with the number 33 engraved on it.

Club 33 members and their guests have exclusive access to the club, which is not open to the public. In addition to beer and wine, Club 33 has a full bar, although patrons must order directly from their server rather than the service bar. Club 33 is the only location within Disneyland to offer alcoholic beverages during daytime hours, although the park has a park-wide liquor license and has set up bars for private events.

That sounds like they traded a room for the ability to go to Club 33? That's a no-no from what I understand.

But I too wish to get there one day too. I've been in the lobby on the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour but really want to see the upstairs although with the refurb the original version is probably mostly or all gone.

I have been to Club 33 in California and it is WAY overrated. I am not complaining and enjoyed the experience, but I would take Victoria & Alberts in the Grand Floridian any day over Club 33.

I've been there too. Maybe I was expecting too much having lived in CA my whole life and being such a Disney fan...But I completely agree with you - rather go to V&A any time.

I agree...Wife and I went to Club 33 for our Anniversary, it was on my Disney Bucket List.
We enjoyed it very much but Victoria and Alberts dining experience beats it by a "Mickey Mile"

I am confused what does the Grand Floridian have to do with Club 33. I think I am misreading something... and yes there's just something so special about Club 33 for sure.

We ate there in 2010 on the ABD Backstage Magic trip. It was nice, and definitely a memory I will not forget. (See siggy)

ETA: It was NOT part of the ABD itinerary.

Oooooooh. I hadn't realized that the ABD trip includes a meal at Club 33. Ah, umm ... now I might have to look into booking the ABD for my hubby's sake. Thx!

What ABD trip. If it's possible to dine there I want in. Lol

Sorry, but It is not actually part of the ABD Back Stage Magic trip, it was a "gift" so to speak from a member I believe.
We were there with the Podcast Team and they had it arranged somehow.
Sorry for any confusion on that part, should have clarified.

No flames please, sorry to get your hopes up!

Everything is Disney for us. I got married at Disneyland in 97. Paid for my sons adoption from South Korea with my Disney Stock. Became DVC members for him. In the process of having our home built with a little help from our stock. The day we landed in San Francisco 2 years ago bringing our son home was July 17th (not planned) we just have to finish this final piece of the puzzle. Lol. SOMEDAY WE HOPE.

I've dined at Club 33.....it was a lovely experience and I had to do it once. Made my DH find a way through business associations.
Took lots of pictures.....love the bathroom.
I would like to go back, but no contacts anymore.

Haven't been to Victoria and Albert's......so it is better? For a picky eater?
And I would rather have veggies undercooked rather than overcooked!
