I was just double checking what studios were available at WDW just for one night in 6 1/2 months. I was shocked to learn that already, the only studios available are at SSR. I know that SSR is the largest, and so the last to fill up, but I figured that a few others might still have some availability. I didn't think late February was so busy. Or are studios THAT precious?

Late February is President's day week and the Princess Half Marathon, so that's probably why there's little availability. I went that same time this year and it was INSANELY busy at the parks and the resorts.

It looks like several DVC Studios are available except for the evening of February 19. (Presidents Day is Feb 20.)

I am going February 1-10 and staying in a studio. When I booked exactly wt 7 months, everything was open, even RIV.

The following two days of the 7 month window, everything was gone.

Not exactly on point but we needed to use up some banked points before they expired and decided to add two nights in the park November 18 - 20. We were just under 7 months and wanted a 1 bedroom. Only a couple of options were available but we wanted Boardwalk our home resort. We took BLT and got on a wait list for Boardwalk. The waitlist just came through. I realize that with only 2 days needed the chances of the waitlist coming through were probably better but I was checking almost everyday availabily through online booking for a studio and above and nothing was available.

I am just trying to say take what you can and get on a wait list for what you want. There is a good chance it will come through in the end

It looks OKW is available for 2/18 and 2/19, like SSR. The other WDW resorts are missing one date or both.

Late February is school vacation weeks and start of spring break. Super popular time to go.

Yeppers. As someone trying to get my Princess stuff situated, I've been watching it all fill up before I can get there (but I really do not love staying at Bay Lake studios!). And since the people going with me dislike SSR quite a bit (we had our worst family trip at SSR , so I understand) it's tricky.

Oh, no! One reason we picked that time is that we thought we'd miss spring break, not expecting it to start until early March. And I didn't even think about the Princess Half Marathon.

First two weeks in February are pretty good for light crowds. Things really pick up mid month. We have a trip booked for early February 2023.

We arrive 2/19/23 for the week for our Mardi Gras break, we all leave home and head to Disney that week :). This year will be special because our local high school band will be marching in Disney that week as well.

Traditionally, the Princess half marathon weekend, Thurs to Sun, has been the highest DVC demand time that exists between mid-Jan and late Sep. Presidents' Day weekend is also fairly high.

The Parks have a bit of a window between the end of P-Week and the start of spring break proper when the crowds are moderate-ish---that happens to also be the week I am most often there b/c our "spring" break is among the earliest.

The Princess weekend doesn't really change that all that much in terms of bodies through the turnstiles, but it does have an outsized impact on DVC occupancy. A lot of runDisney "recidivists" own DVC to simplify their race weekends.

Mardi Gras can also throw a wrench into the works---it's similar in impact to Jersey Week, as lots and lots of folks from Louisiana etc. take (a good chunk of) that week to visit WDW. Thankfully it's not that same week every year.

I'm going in August and made my reservations for one night at a Studio mid July at the last minute. Got a night at Grand Floridian but wanted Boardwalk because I was familiar with it. Boardwalk totally booked so I went on a waitlist.

Got a Boardwalk view the next day - never expected that so keep trying. I'm only staying the night, coming down to meet with contractors working on a townhouse I bought a few months ago that needed major renovation.
