Anyone who doesn't understand the issue with these comments and objectification in general (ie acting like its the woman's fault for not being able to accept a compliment) I beg you to watch this super short video with an open mind. http://www.upworthy.com/sexual-objectification-what-it-is-why-its-damaging-and-how-we-change

Did we lose a war or something ?

If Saying Olivers sister in law is attractive constitutes sexual harassment , I beg you to read the comments section on YouTube!

I warn you it may be a bit much

I will look into your link, I suggest you start listening to Michael Savage.

You realize that you said more that that Oliver's sister is attractive, right? One reason I commented on your post was that it was no different than posts which are unfortunately being made on Twitter, YouTube and other social media sites.

I want to make another point. You can post criticisms of the podcast all day long. I may or may not agree with you. I may or may not say so. I have no problem with folks disagreeing with what is said on the podcast. I did so myself, several years ago, and to Pete's credit, that led to me writing blogs and later being a guest on the podcast. What concerns me about your original post is that you've gone beyond legitimate criticism and treated a person as an object.

Where is king llama with gifs when we need him

You've lost me with those references. I don't understand how they relate to what I said or your point.

It's truly unfortunate with political correctness and all the shyster lawyers around threatening lawsuits that we must be so worried to offend someone these days

I think this thread has sadly devolved into a personal conversation that has nothing further to do with the podcast or Disney, even considering the liberal interpretation the mods have given this forum over the years.

I'm done.

If anything , at least we now know Epcot is offering wine tastings with 2 oz pours at three different countries for only $20 :)

Translation: Why can't I say insensitive and rude things without people getting mad at me anymore?

That is all I'm going to say. Following the mods' advice on this one. Bye.

It appears that "Posters, please use the ignore feature rather than argue with or insult others" is a difficult concept.

This thread is closed.

But we will insist that posts here follow our site guidelines: Please take personal comments and conversations with other posters to personal messages, and do not insult or attack other posters here.
