I had my choice of three different times for table of FIVE. I considered lunch and, after 1 pm, they were wide open. I took first seating for breakfast so we'll be in Fantasyland already at 9 am - yeah! I was one of those "never gonna do it again" people, but DH suggested I see if they had any openings for that particular day - it's our anniversary - and we'll be at MK where we will have exhausted all of our other TS dining options during different days on the trip. Plus, I realized, since we're going on a grown up date later, the boys would eat CS twice in one day if I didn't book a meal. So $102 later ... whew ... we're eating at Cindy's again. For the last time. Again. No, really I mean it this time.
It's interesting the way market demand works - between the new higher prices, 2TSs and free dining, it looks like Disney has, well, made it possible for relative last-minute planners like me to have a crack at CRT, if they are willing to pay for it. I do think they will want to up capacity at some point while keeping it one of their "prestige" places to eat - wonder if the 2TS will be reduced, at least for breakfast and lunch, after free dining? I am betting we'll see some sort of change before the end of the year; what that change is I have no idea, I am sure the geniuses in Disney's marketing dept can think up something much more clever than I can possibly guess.
