As of 8:05 am eastern time (5 minutes after the 11 month window opened for 12-30-15) there are no Studios available for that date, in any category at both BLT and BWV

NYE is the most crowded day in the parks and it is also the night that books the quickest for DVC resorts - and that's especially true for the near park resorts.

Those who want to stay over NYE need to own where they want to stay, book at 11 months and consider themselves very lucky if they are able to change to another resort at 7 months.

We wanted December 29-Jan 1, BLT SV 1 bedroom, had to settle for LV. It will be our 6th NYE at WDW...love the fireworks!

I got lucky, right at 7am EST I logged on and booked a 2 bedroom BLT MK view for Dec 28 - jan 3. Will use up two years worth of points but it will be worth it.

My mom died last week so I booking NYE was not on my radar. I tried today and BWV studios booked solid already. It's a very popular time, but I don't think I have ever seen all of BWV booked so quickly. I guess I'll have to "walk" my reservation. Speaking of which, many thanks to the reservation walkers who released their unwanted days allowed me to book 12/27-12/30 at AKV Concierge today.

ETA, there are AKV studios available for NYE but I don't have enough AKV points to book it.

Thanks . It was somewhat unexpected. She had been in and out of the hospital for the past 3 years but we thought she was on the mend again.
