I bought yesterday on my shopping freenzy a new tackle box my XXlarge Crop wasn't cutting it. Couldn't find stuff, no idea what I have!
So I went looking and bought this at Walmart for $29.99

Plano 3-Drawer Tackle Storage Box

It is fantastic. I have all my embellishments, tools adhesives etc and other odds and ends in there. Plus all my CM tools! Which I use a lot!
Now I can put my albums, paper takers and sticker binder in my big bag with room to spare!

What a great idea!

I love the idea of using a tackle box for embellishments and tools!! Why didn't I think of that?

What are paper takers and what kind of sticker binders do you use? I found a sticker binder online awhile back and thought I bookmarked the site, but now I can't find it. I have got to get organized. Did you get yours online by any chance?

Pat

60 days and counting . . . again!

Most of the girls at the crops I go to have these... I NEED to get one because you're right... the XXL just don't cut it!!

It is a great little box!
Here is the a link for the one I got

Walmart was cheaper!
I bought my paper takers at Michael's they are semi hard plastic with a zipper and nylon type handles. Not sure if Generations makes them. I have 3. I also have the crop in style sticker binder which I am pleased with. I think I now have a very portable system and user friendly!
I also have the crop in style JR. which was my first bag, silly me....had I only known! But I have found it comes in handy if I am going to a friends house for a few hours or to couple hour crop. I can just throug a few things in there and I am all set!

Very cool!! I've looked at tackle boxes but I never get one 'cause I'm sure I'll buy the one that none of my stuff will fit in. Or it will hold everything EXCEPT the most important thing I want to take.:teeth:
I'm going to look for that one at WalMart.
Now that I think about it I've been looking in the hardware section at TOOLBOXES not TACKLEBOXES!!!!:o Silly me....

Walmart has different sizes to fit your needs. They also have soft sided lure boxes that have 3, 4 or 5 divided boxes/trays. I LOVE the one I purchased. It has 4 boxes/trays with each having 36 compartments. Each box/tray is @ 6" x 8" and 1 1/2" tall. The outer soft sided container also has pockets for the tools and goodies. I think mine cost @14.97. They have others that range from $12.97 to $36.97.

my DW has a couple of tackle boxes she uses for her quilting supplies. luckily I can still fit MOST of my stuff in my NaNavigator, PSB, and PaperTaker. I used to have the PSB in the navigator but it had to come out a fe wmonthes ago for space ;)

The navigator is getting tight again as I just bought the Quickutz Tool on Sunday, and I am going to have to find space for the die I will be buying (I know better than to try a no-shopping challenge :teeth: )

I may end up getting a tackle box if I ever really get into having large amonts of eyelets and small stuff like that.

Mike

Hey Mike you will love your quickutz! I bought one about 6 months ago and love it. I want to get the mini fonts next! I jsut have the Honey font. I will have to search around but I know i have a link somewhere where they are usually 25% off.
I was surprised how much stuff I actually had to go in my tackle box! What I love most is my cutting tools are in there and on the top. Which is great for using at crops! Before in my bag I had to fish them out and basically keep them on the table for easy use.
I just started using eyelets about a month ago and needless to say I have an assortment now!

Mike sounds to me like you need a scraproom !

Yes I do and a room for DW's quilting. I had found an area in the basement I was going to put up some walls and build a craft room for us, BUT the house we live in is the one I grew up in and built in late 60s so the basement is not tall enough for a room according to the local laws/rules.

SO we are both depressed :(

But the zoning/code offical person I talked to suggested temporary dividers or something to wall it off. I might use some shelving units to wall it off.

Spinning thanks for the site I will check it out!

Thats funny, My hubby and I went to this great big outdoor store in Dallas and all we got was a tackle box for me. I can use the tote I have for paper and all my other stuff will fit in the tackle box. I did get a $12 one.
I am ready if I ever get to go to my first crop.:)
