Wow factor

Well....all I can base my statement on is what I experienced. The kitchenette area, of the studio, is smaller at VGF. The sink is tiny. I had plenty of extra room next to the lamp at bwv. At the VGF, the sofa was pushed right up next to the drapes. It just felt cramped in that studio. Perhaps the double bathroom set up takes up space.
Perhaps it's a different story with one bedroom units, but the studio I was in just felt cramped.

VGF supposedly has a whole 15 square feet more than a BWV studio. :) But I'd agree with you and think it's because of the split bathroom that the living area has a little less space. And if you're in a dedicated BWV that feels even bigger than a lock-off. And if I'm remembering correctly the VGF studio closet runs along the same wall as the kitchenette so it might have taken a little space from the kitchenette area vs BWV where the closet is in-between the bathroom and living area.

I have to agree with you about the VGF studios. They just don't excite me much, and I agree they feel cramped. However, the 1-bedroom and larger units are another story altogether! Very spacious and nice.
