Wow, F&W BCV waitlist came through

We'll be at WDW in October, including part of Columbus Day weekend. At the 7 month mark, we tried for BCV for the first half of our stay but it wasn't available. We were excited to get BWV for it. A couple days later, I realized I forgot to WL BCV so I called and we've been on the WL ever since.

Today, I checked the member web site and was ecstatic to see our BCV WL came through.

This was some much needed pixie dust as last month DW broke her back and will be in a brace for awhile.

We're very much looking forward to spending time at BCV and then moving to BLT and trying MK view for the first time.

If someone is WL for a BWV studio Oct 6-10, it's worth checking the member site to see if your WL came through.

We are booked at SSR for 10/14 - 10/21 and on a wait list for either BWV or BCV. Hope ours comes thru. If not, we have never stayed at Seratoga so it may not be all that bad.

We're booked for a 2 BD at SSR for 9 nights in mid-Oct. & have waitlisted BWV for either the beginning or the end. I was discouraged from WL BCV since it's got fewer rooms.

We are wait listed for 2 nights Sept 30 & Oct 1. DD birthday the 30th. I am on the fence. We reserved 2 nights with cash (only can pay for one if it really comes down to it) so I was was debating...do my odds increase if I am only waitlisting one night. I would be ok with 6 night stay. I call MS often to check to see if anything has opened up. Wishing for pixie dust.

DW says thanks for all the well wishes. After a month, she's very tired of wearing the brace and not being able to do much. I keep reminding her the most important thing is to get healthy.

We've never stayed at BCV before, but are looking forward to SAB, short walk to Epcot, short walk to BW, and the boat ride to DHS.

Any advice for BCV first-timers?
