Wow did I luck out with my AP purchase

I have been hearing “ticket prices usually increase in February”, but I kept thinking I would wait to buy our APs. Something told me last night to buy them just incase all those people were right. So 8pm last night I went on and bought 5 APs for my family. Granted I only saved about $100 but had I waited to buy I would have been kicking myself. That $100 is better in my pocket than WDW.

No doubt.....but that 100 bucks will probably still end up in disney's wallet from some other revenue generator on site.
At least the money is better spent on Dole Whips.

On Saturday my wife talked me into purchasing our AP pass and I am happy with the savings.

We went ahead and got our APs for our trip in Nov-Dec about 2 weeks ago. I also had my son get tickets for his family at the same time. While we saved about $40, he ended up saving about $350 on his ($150 from a discount broker and $200 from the increase). We’re all happy about it!

We bought our first APs a couple of weeks ago. We won't be activating them until November. I guess I'm glad I went ahead and bought, but honestly, I figured there would be a much higher increase. I'm surprised the Gold went up only $20.

Good for you! I bought 4 AP vouchers a few years ago and the CM looked at me like I was a little crazy. He said if you want to invest with the mouse that much go ahead! I already had a current AP at the time. I am activating 2 of them when we go down next month. My only regret was that I didn't buy more of them.

Unfortunately for us we are renewing and waiting for a 60 day out which is next week.
