Wow, did I cheat this girl out?

I asked a girl to trade for her gold mickey ears, and I put down purple throne, Frontier land quest pin, Fantasy land quest pin, and a space mountain sign pin. Instead she puts down musketeer hat. Did I cheat her out?

You didn't force her to choose that hat and you didn't make her click the accept button. No one will know for sure if that was her intention or not. I can honestly say, I would've accepted the trade as well. Everyone views worth in a different way. Maybe she hated that musketeer hat. Maybe she thought your pins were worth more than just gold ears and put that up to be fair.

I've had many 'unfair' trades in my day. Worth is all in the eyes of the people. If you think that hat was worth more than your pins, I'd say you made a great deal.

I my opinion i would say that you got cheated. Im my experience trading, gold ears are worth more than musketeer hats. It seems everyone has musketeer hats and noone wears them but almost everyone wants gold ears.

I would say that the musketeer hat is vary varied in worth...some people like it because it is rare, some people hate it because they think it is ugly. As with all trading and as others have said, it all depends on what the trader wants. If you are feeling bad or guilty, then maybe in the future if this happens again you would want to mention something like "are you sure that is the hat you mean to trade?"

Yeah, I tried the hat on, and then took it straight off. LOL , but im in the process of trading it for black ears. (off topic: shortly after that i traded some other stuff for gold ears Woot!)

I my gold ears and wear them most of the time.

I have the musketeer hat but don't wear it because the hair looks stupid.

I feel this would fall under 'bait and switch' by promising one hat but giving another. But if you are happy with the second hat, then that is great.
