It looks great! We booked a room for 2 nights Oct 15-17 for $99.00. Then last week I was on Orbitz and found it for $69.00/night.:woohoo: I couldn't believe it. The waterpark area lokks fantastic. I just hope my kids will want to leave it to go to US & IoA. :lmao:

that looks sooooooooooo much better than the nick hotel...they had a water area but the rooms were hellish...nice to see...thnxs

Since this thread isn't about a Universal resort, I'm going to move this to the Orlando Hotels and Attractions forum.

That article shows the place is pretty awesome. We had watched the construction during the process of moving nearby, and that's a better job than I would have ever expected them to do.

This place looks great, subscribing to this thread will watch wth intrest

That looks pretty nice!

I wish they had rooms for bigger families though--like suites or something that could accomdate 6 or more people

They have what they call family rooms. You have to request them. It is connecting rooms. We saw one configuration that had 3 rooms connecting. We are getting the "family room this week end. I will post pics to show you what they are like.

Awesome! Thanks! I look forward to seeing them!:thumbsup2

Does anyone know about how much cheaper? ;)

The week after Thanksgiving my Dh has a buisness trip to Orlando. Since his work will cover the cost of a hotel room up to $108/night, we (me and the 4 kids, ages 4-10) are thinking of tagging along. We're ok with getting a hotel room that's over $108 and just paying the difference out of pocket, but of course we'd like as little "out of pocket" as possible so we can use the $ for other fun stuff (I'm trying to scrape up enough for MVMCP tickets for one of the nights!)

the large waterpark structure looks very similar to the one at Aquatica, we were there on Thurs.
