I tried Coral Reef for dinner on 2 different dates-12/1 and 12/4-and they were fully booked both times. I finally took a lunch there. For Bomas on 11/30, they only had limited seating times available. Fortunately, at GFC, I had no trouble getting the date and time I wanted. I guess the popular resturaunts do really book up early. I know some people book right at the 6 month time frame, but I didn't think it was necessary, especially since December is supposed to be a less-busy time of year. Now I'm rethinking that whole idea!

Thanks for posting this. We are going the end of Nov and I keep putting off making my adr's. I got to get crackin' now.

We are going that time frame too and I havent made any adrs yet. I am waiting to see who the candelight cp narrarators are, then I will make them. I think that is why the limited availability of coral reef, due to them probably saving alot of tables for the cp packages.

Just made my ADR's and the only one I couldn't get was the new Italian Restaurant in Epcot. The CM told me that they aren't taking ressies for that yet and she didn't know when they will. So then I asked for CR and that was full until 8 PM and then I tried Le Cellier and that was full until 9:30 PM. So I took CM Cafe for now. Maybe they'll open the Italian restaurant before they do refurb.

Good luck to everyone!:wizard:

The CP restaurants have limited availability because of the packages, according the two of the CMs I talked to when booking our ADRs. They save a lot of tables through prime dinner hours for the package release. That's part of the reason Coral Reef and Le Cellier have been tougher than usual to get. Tables might open up later depending upon booking levels for the packages.

As far as Boma's, AKL has been booked pretty solid for early Dec for a while, at least since we started looking at Dec dates, so maybe the trouble getting Boma ADRs has to do with the high occupancy rates at AKL.

I thought about the CP packages, but now that you have to eat dinner before the CP, I figured I wouldn't be affected by the packages if I tried to book at 6:30 or later. Oooh-I just thought of something-maybe this means that there was so much outcry about times last year (needing to eat before the CP), that they're going back to allowing the meal afterwards. I'd LOVE to see that!

Take this for what it is worth, because we all know how iffy CM statements can be - I was told that yes, only the earlier tables are reserved for CP and that they are only offering the package for dinner before the show, BUT since there are almost no early dinner times available for ADRs, there is twice as much demand for the later times. Which does make sense when you think about it... Without the CP package, the 100 people calling for dinner ADRs for Le Cellier at 180 out have about 5 hours to spread out over, but now those same 100 people only have 2.5 hours of available times to compete for.

We have an ADR at CP for Nov. 29th, but we may cancel if we can get a CP package instead. We did go for a fairly early seating anyway and booked right at our 180 day mark. If we can't get a good CP package, we'll just stick with our ADR.

Don't forget about the greedy folks like me who are sorta double booking or in my PC terms Guaranteeing We will eat in our choice restaurant.

I made early ADRs for LeCellier for 2 days week of 12/16 - 12/22, but once the Candelight Packages come out I will probably cancel one of these for a CP Dinner package.

So, even if not doing the CP Dinner package, try calling back to get the "cancellation" from someone like me.

Hi
I wouldn't advertise your double booking on here. A lot of people on the Dis will be real unhappy with that. I tried to get LeCellier at an early time on Dec. 10th, but couldn't so I just booked Coral Reef instead.

Sorry -- I should have been clearer in my post. I didn't actually double book. Instead I made ADRs at 180 + 10, but once Candel light Processional Dinner Packages are released I plan to cancel one of my "dinner only" ADR and book a Candle Light Dinner Package (assuming I can get my choice restaurant). What I was trying to say is I'd bet "dinner only" ressies open up when the Candle Light Packages open up because of the canceling of one dinner in favor of a Candle Light Package.

I only booked the ADR at 180 + just in case LeCellier doesn't have any Candel Light Packages on the dates/times I want.

Hi
I tried to get LeCellier at an early time on Dec. 10th, but couldn't so I just booked Coral Reef instead.

I got Le Cellier on 12/10 at 7:10pm and they had additional times available for that specific date. That was a week ago though.

Thanks. I could've had LeCellier at 8:30PM, but it was too late for us. It's a Monday night, and my DH wants to be at ESPN for Mon. night football. Also to the OP, thanks for clarifying that about your double booking. I hope you get what you want for the Candlelight Processional. I'm going to make ADR's for that too as soon as its announced.

I've been trying to get LeCellier for 12/8 any time before 8, and have had absolutely NO luck, lunch or dinner.

We've tried for LeCellier for either of two different nights during the week of Nov 26th. No luck for anything reasonably early (I think we were offered 9pm). We were told that it was because of the CP packages.
