Wouldn't it be great if the Magic Bands had step-counters built in?!! I don't own a fitbit mostly because they are expensive and I think they are kind of weird, but you do SO much walking in Disney World that I would love to know how many steps I walk every day in the parks!

I was thinking today it would be great if there were lots of different little kid play spots in queues and near rides that were activated by magicbands....like the kid scans their magic band and a mouse head pops out of a box...or music plays...or lights. Lots of potential amusements.

They really should put in a step counter - it would be fun to see how many miles you walk in a day. They could post your totals in the MDE app! (On a side note, the Garmin VivoFit 2 is much better priced than the Fitbit. I have one and love it.)

They will not because if they did and you know how many steps you took you would get tiers quicker

That would be fun! There is so much they could do with it!

I just wish there was a little digital clock. i never where anything on my wrist but when my magic band is on, I keep looking for the time. lol:magnify:

To check your steps in the Parks:
If you have an iPhone 5 or 6, there is the Health app (that you can't remove).
One of things it monitors, out of the box is Steps.
