Wouldn't a Toy Story character meal be FUN?!

I keep thinking of how cool Disney could make a character meal with the Toy Story characters...

Buzz, Woody, the green army guy, Jessie, etc etc. That would be a FUN meal. My kids and I both would love that.

Just a thought....Disney, if you're listening....Toy Story meal! And just in time for TSIII too!!

That would be fantastic!! My boys are being Woody and buzz for halloween and would love to see that! Put them up at Hollywood and vine and then I'd definitley go back even if the food is not that great.

They used to have one, it was at the Sound Stage I think it was where the Playhouse disney is. I think they rotate to the Movies that were out. I had a freind that went to the Toy Story one with her Boys & she said it was alot of fun but it was not very busy, they had 2 Toy Soliders just sit at the table with them. Another friend of mine went to the same place but it was Aladdin.

We love the idea! Toy Story needs to be brought back, maybe the meal wasn't publicized enough or not enough of the main characters. However, with Toy Story 3 coming out and the first two still popular we would go.

Think this would be a fabulous idea. Especially with all the 'Princess' stuff, there's not as much around for the boys. I like the Princesses, but it seems to me Disney are neglecting to pull in the boys votes, which I think a Toy Story character meal would deffs do.

Now from what I remember about the rumors , a few years back a Toy Story character meal was strongly on the cards. There had even been casting calls/tryouts for characters. Then suddenly it went quiet and the Playhouse Disney ones was announced instead. Again, from what I understand someone at Pixar didn't like the idea of the characters doing meals.

I've been wanting a Pixar one (Toy Story/Monsters Inc) forever! There were rumors a few years back, but I heard (don't know if it's true or not), that they decided the characters were too "bulky."

My kids are older (21 & 12), but we still do character meals and would LOVE one with the Pixar characters. Hopefully they can find a way to make it work in the near future!

That would be great! What we'd really like to see is a Peter Pan character meal- Peter, Wendy, Hook, Smee, and if they want 5 characters, they could throw in a random pirate or Indian, or lost boy, or John or Michael.

Toy Story is one of our families all time favorite movies. Yes, I think the character meal would be a wonderful addition. I would definitely book a meal.
Maybe they could do it @ HS since they have the TSM and Block Party Bash. They could somehow rework the space in Pizza Planet to do the meal there. FUN, FUN, FUN to think about.

we were discussing this a while back...I thought the old skyway building by Space Mountain could have been maybe used, since Buzz ride is there and all.
One day I hope they arrange it somehow and do it at MK...they need another TS place there, more than DHS does.

Quite some time ago, I was dreaming up some boy-friendly character meals and here's what I came up with:

1 - Toy Story
2 - CARS - have Mater and McQueen set up in an infield, patrons are seated at booths set up like a racetrack stadium, each table with a starting strip light, when your light hits green you go down for your photo ops
3 - Peter Pan/Pirates - Peter and gang at breakfast/lunch and then Jack Sparrow and crew at dinner

4 - STAR WARS!!!!! Make it a globe like Planet Hollywood, except in this case you're entering the Death Star. I think this would rival even CRT.

I agree!!! I have 2 boys and the princess theme just doesnt work with them. But, I have always wanted a Pirate themed dinner. Star Wars would be soooooo cool too! Come on Disney listen up!
