we are a family of 4 (2adults - 2 teens-16 &15) right now booked for 8 days at Carribean Beach. I picked CB b/c I love the beach and the carribean, but now am having 2nd thoughts to switch to coronado springs to have the queen beds. Its only total 39 dollars more to switch, is it worth it to have larger beds, or do we bring a blow-up mattress and have the kids take turns sleeping on it and moving it out of our way during the day? thoughts? anyone?

Cbr is my favorite moderate but with older kids, I would most likely go to CSR. We liked it a lot as well and the grounds are very pretty. For us, it is less little kid friendly and we have two year old twins so we prefer cbr for now. But we preferred the food options at CSR and the queen beds are nice. You might request the cabanas section if you like the Caribbean feel. It's not the same but looks most similar with its pretty beach and somewhat tropical feel.

Switch!!!! We have 2 teenagers and the bigger beds and the doors to the sink area are a plus in my book.

I agree. Switch.

I love CBR, it's by far one of my favorite moderates. But, with two teens you are going to appreciate the extra room.

CBR is so great! Love it there. Havent stayed at CSR...just thought I would throw in tehre that we did the air mattress thing at CBR and it worked out fine. We just stood it up in the corner. The wonderful maid even left DS his own sheets for it.

OK, I switched to Coronado Springs, it was only a 39.00 difference, kept my free dining, so its a done deal, Im kinda relieved, I wont have to worry about cramping into a full sized bed. Im sure were gonna have a great time, lets face it, its disney, how bad could it be? right?????

I am also booked at CBR and thinking I should switch to CSR. We have actually book 2 rooms so I really don't think the beds are a big deal for us. However, it seems CBR is catering for smaller children. Opinions?

In my families opinion, CSR is a much better resort than CBR. Everything from the beds, buses, food court menu options, grounds/landscape (especially at night), and the rooms are so much better at CSR.

If POR or POFQ was ever booked solid for our travel dates, we wouldn't hesitate to jump at the opportunity to stay at CSR again. We would be back there in a heartbeat.

Have fun! :thumbsup2

POR Alligator Bayou (and maybe the mansion) rooms are all very recently remodelled and have queen beds also. Just another option.
