Would you recommend CRT for lunch?

I'm not interested in the character breakfast but was thinking of having lunch there during our trip. How is the food? There are 4 of us: myself, DH, and 2 boys - ages 2 and 6.

I have made reservations for a dinner at LTT and a lunch at CP. I would rather do lunch in the park than at a monorail hotel just for convenience. We generally eat a light breakfast so lunch would be a bigger meal for us. My 2 yr old is diabetic so having a late breakfast doesn't work so well (I need a noontime meal).

Yes, I would recommend lunch at CRT! I have two sons, so they had no interest in the princess breakfast, but they really enjoyed eating in the castle - we all did! The food was good, but the best part was just being in the castle. We had the first seating for lunch, I believe it was at 11:30. It was great because we were led into the empty dining room with just a couple of other families, so it felt like we had the castle all to ourselves for a little while.

Would definately recommend CRT for lunch! It's a good and reasonably priced menu, and a great midday stop. We once saw Peter Pan being stalked by Captain Hook right outside our window on the castle roof!

Another thumbs up for CRT. We really like lunch there, as it is a great park break. We also have done CP & LTT both and enjoyed both very much. LTT is our favorite Character meal of all times and a repeater for us.

Definitely! I love CRT for lunch-seeing Hook and Pan can be an added plus (I've seen them out on the roof 2 of the 4 times I've had lunch there).

That sounds great - the menu looks fine for us and I have the PS already so I'll keep it! I've always wanted to be inside the castle for something. Wouldn't it be fabulous if it had some hotel rooms?
