Would you rather eat dinner in Tony's or in The Plaza?

We like Tony's (lunch better than dinner); but we LOVE The Plaza. The Plaza has become our last meal of our trip before we head to the airport or the beach when our time at Disney is over. After all the heavy meals we've eaten our entire trip, it is a nice lighter meal and we've always had great food (they have the best french fries in all of Disney) and we've always had very good service. The desserts are.....:worship:

neither. MK is not the place for TS restaurants. Tony's is overpriced average food. And the Plaza has the same food you would find at QS restaurants, but for a lot more. You are better off eating QS or leaving the parks to eat. A lot of the resorts on the monorail loop have good TS restaurants if you really want a sit down meal.

Haven't been to Tony's so can't help you on an either/or, but can tell you we totally enjoyed the Plaza. Sandwiches were way above quick service quality and ice cream specialties for dessert were wonderful. We had a lovely table with a view of the castle on a bright sunny day...was lovely place for a relaxing meal.

I would say neither and go to one of the monorail resorts. You have great options for signatures - Cali Grill, Citricos, Narcoosee's or even some good 1 ts choices - Kona, the Wave, Ohana. I'd probably go with Kona.

I liked the Plaza when we went for lunch two weeks ago but I didn't find it to be anything that special. It's a nice quiet atmosphere with sandwiches and burgers. The fries are very tasty. I wouldn't say it was same quality as CS, it's definitely better. The service we had was pretty meh though, the place wasn't crowded yet it was always hard to find our server...we'd go back for lunch because it was quiet, but I like LTT much better for lunch at MK. I've never tried Tony's, we have great Italian food at home, so sometimes I'm scared to try it on vacation. I'm actually a very big fan of CRT, it didn't hurt that we got engaged there ;), but I found the food to be good and being in the Castle was just magical :lovestruc.

I did not care for Tonys. Not one person in my group of 10 enjoyed their meal. I do however enjoy The Plaza. It's not fancy but nice to sit down and enjoy a meal.

Of the two, I would choose the Plaza, but I would also suggest Liberty Tree Tavern. I always enjoy eating there.

If I could only choose between the two - the Plaza. If you have time to leave the parks, I'd suggest something around the Monorail. Maybe Kona or Ohana at the Poly.

On our last trip we ate at both. Tonys was very good, we had lunch there. The plaza we loved! It's definately above qs (especially their burgers) and their fast! Your in and out in no time! We ate there like 4 times on our last trip.

Plaza...will never eat at Tony's again after the deplorable treatment we received there the last time we went on one of the MNSSHP. Won't go near the place.

We dine at the Plaza quiet often while at MK. We alternate with CP as we find their lunch very good with an awesome variety. The Plaza doesn't have a lot of selection and while most of the menu items consist of sandwiches they are quite good, MUCH BETTER than any counter service places (as one poster mentioned they are like those, NO, not at all-they are freshly made). This probably our favorite sandwich (and ice cream) place in all of WDW! I have a review with photos of some of their food items on my website.

We haven't eaten at Tony's as I've just not read enough encouraging reviews over the years to try it. We are going to try LTT lunch in a few weeks. We've had dinner there a few years ago and it didn't particularly WOW us but the lunch menu has different items so we'll see.

So in a nutshell, I'd go for the Plaza. If you can venture to an MK resort instead I HIGHLY recommend the Wave at the Contemporary Resort.;) Check out my reviews.:thumbsup2
